Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).

Profile information: Career track selection, country, and any optional profile details you choose to provide.

Learning data: Exercise completions, formula attempts, scores, XP earned, streaks, and time spent on exercises. This data powers your dashboard and certificate generation.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, operating system, IP address, and referring URLs — collected via analytics.

AI Helper conversations: When you use the AI Formula Helper, your questions and the AI responses are processed to provide the service. We do not store these conversations permanently.

Payment information: If you subscribe to Pro or Teams, payment is processed by Stripe. We never store your card details — only a subscription status and customer ID.

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the ExcelPro platform
• Track your learning progress and generate certificates
• Power the XP system, leaderboard, and streak features
• Send you account-related emails (e.g. password resets, billing receipts)
• Send weekly challenge notifications and progress emails (you can unsubscribe)
• Analyse usage patterns to improve exercises and features
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Display personalised advertisements via Google AdSense (free tier users)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.

We share your data only with trusted service providers who help us operate ExcelPro:

• Stripe — payment processing for Pro and Teams subscriptions
• Google Analytics — anonymised usage analytics
• Google AdSense — advertising on free tier pages
• Anthropic — powers the AI Formula Helper (questions processed but not stored)
• Netlify / Vercel — website hosting and content delivery

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of ExcelPro or its users.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

• Keep you logged in across sessions
• Remember your preferences and track selection
• Measure traffic and usage via Google Analytics
• Serve relevant advertisements via Google AdSense

Free tier users see advertisements powered by Google AdSense. These ads may be personalised based on your browsing behaviour and interests, as governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Pro and Teams subscribers do not see advertisements.

ExcelPro is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
